Case 01 of 06Multi-application platform

Three internal operational dashboards and one partner portal in a shared Nx monorepo, built around shared libraries and feature-based modules.

Abstract architecture of connected system modules

Overview

A digital asset exchange ecosystem: three internal operational dashboards and one partner portal, all living in a single Nx monorepo.

On the frontend, the work was about keeping four applications consistent and quick to change by sharing libraries and feature-based modules instead of copying code.

What I did

  1. Developed the frontend applications: three internal operational dashboards and one partner portal in a shared Nx monorepo.

  2. Designed a modular frontend architecture of shared libraries and feature-based modules, so components and business logic are reused across the applications.

  3. Centralized common functionality into reusable libraries, letting features be composed and shared across portals with minimal duplication.

  4. Integrated authentication and authorization with Clerk: organization management, role-based access control (RBAC), and multi-factor authentication (MFA).

  5. Handled dependency upgrades, production issue resolution, bug fixes, and code reviews to keep the applications stable and maintainable.

  6. Collaborated with backend engineers, QA, and product stakeholders to ship new features and production enhancements.

Impact

Enhanced development productivity through a reusable monorepo architecture.

Enhanced productivity with AI-assisted development by building custom skills and workflows.
